Admissions

Admission into Primary School

West Borough Primary School is a Community School under Local Authority control. Provided we have places we are able to admit pupils, following an interview with the Headteacher. To make an appointment to discuss a school place, please contact the Office Manager/Headteacher's PA, Mrs Bovis, 01622 726391.

Every school in Kent has an admission authority which is responsible for its administration arrangements.  The admission arrangements contain details about how the applications to the school will be ranked.  Kent County Council is responsible for the admission arrangements for all the Community and Voluntary Controlled schools in Kent.

The criteria for Community and Voluntary Controlled Schools are:

· Children in Local Authority Care and children who have been adopted from Care

· Current Family Association (sibling)

· Health, Social and Special Access Reasons

· Nearness of Children’s Homes to School

Please note that applications for admission into our School and Nursery can only be considered once your child resides in the UK.
