All children will be moving year groups for September; some will be moving into another building in our school and some will be moving school altogether. We spend time preparing the children for these changes. Children will feel a mixture of emotions from excitement to anxiety. Please encourage them to talk to us about their worries.
Next week I shall be sending out information regarding classes for next year. This will include arrangements for transition in school and when children will be visiting their new classes. For our Nursery children and Year 6, there are separate arrangements in place.
We’re all very excited about the up-coming Fair and currently the weather forecast is looking good! We want all our families to come along and enjoy the day, but we still need parents who can help too! If you think you could spare 30 minutes to ’man’ a stall, please contact the PTFA.
Thank you for all the donations we’ve received so far! Next Friday the children can wear their own clothes for bringing in either cakes or £1 donation.
We shall be holding the final of West Borough’s Got Talent at the Fair! Please see the other side of the Newsletter for more details! Good luck to all our contestants!
I’ve noticed a slip in some children’s uniform lately. I appreciate that at this point in the school year, children may have grown out of their uniform but please ensure they are appropriately dressed –including footwear. No trainers please. There will be ‘good as new’ uniform on sale at the Summer Fair.
