Our Core Value for this term is Resilience. We began the term learning how to sign our Core  Values. A video which teaches the children how to sign them is on our Twitter page @BoroughWest.

The children had a great time at our Dance-a-thon for the NSPCC last week. We are looking forward to finding out how much we’ve raised in assembly next Friday. Thank you for working so hard to support your child in collecting sponsors.

This week we hope you’ve enjoyed finding out about your child’s progress so far this year at their TLC. If you haven’t yet met with your child’s teacher, please contact the office to make an appointment, or speak directly to your child’s teacher.

World Book Day and our Book Fair have proved very popular! We hope to have lots of commission to spend on books for our class libraries. Thank you for encouraging your child to ‘Share a Million Stories’! Don’t forget to keep recording all the stories you share at home in your child’s reading record.

Lastly, some of you may have noticed our new mini-bus! We’re very excited as this will open up lots of opportunities for our children in terms of visits and sports tournaments. Our mini-bus has its 1st outing next week during Science Week, when some of our Year 4 children will be visiting      Canterbury Christ Church’s LASAR centre. There are lots of other exciting events taking place next week for all the children - don’t forget to keep an eye on out Twitter account.
