The year and new term are already well underway and children are enjoying finding out about their new topics. Ask them what their outcome is for this term.
Our Core Value focus is Responsibility and our British Value is Rule of Law. We shall explore these through assemblies and our PSHCE lessons. What do these mean for you and your family at home?

As with a new year, there are always changes. Many of you will have met Mrs Earle, our new receptionist. We give her a very warm welcome to West Borough. Welcome back too, to Mrs Hudson who has returned from Maternity Leave and is teaching Maple Class.
Next Friday 19th January, we shall sadly be saying goodbye to Mrs Skinner, our Office Manager, after more than 25 years at the school. She has played a huge part in the life of our school for such a long time and will be missed hugely. I’m sure you’d like to join me in thanking her and wishing her all the best for the future.

Gate opening changes
As you will know from the letter I sent home yesterday, we shall be leaving the gates open for a longer time in the mornings from Monday. Please ensure you have read the details carefully to ensure this change goes smoothly. As stated, we shall review this before the end of term and if it’ successful, make this a permanent change.
