12.2.21

As has previously been expressed, your resilience has been amazing - especially those of you at home. Thank you for keeping your children going, but also for giving your children a break when they've needed it. I'd like to extend my thanks to all the staff too, who have worked tirelessly to meet the needs of the children in school and at home.

Your response to our recent Remote Learning survey has really helped us to continue to adapt our offer and we hope the children enjoyed their Zooms with their teacher this week. It's been wonderful for the children in school and at home to still be able to keep in touch too.

At the time of writing, I have no further information regarding further opening of schools. We anticipate an announcement on 22nd February and I shall, of course, update you as soon as I have more information. What I do want to reiterate at this point is that when all of the children are back in school together, we will take the time that's needed to ensure your child's individual needs are met - be that well-being, social and emotional support or learning. There is much speculation in the press at the moment about longer school days and shorter holidays. And at the moment that's all it is - speculation. Please do not worry about your child being left behind - we won't let that happen.

Remote Learning for those children learning at home will be available on the Website and Class Dojo from 22nd February.
