Well it would appear we’ve almost reached the end of another year—they seem to fly by faster and faster!

We have been enjoying the lead up to the festive season in school with a variety of activities. Every class has decorated their door with  wreath made from recycled materials—congratulations to ???, this years winners, voted for by our Eco-Council..

All the children have made the adults in school and at home very proud this week with their fantastic performances! Thank you to those who were able to come and support your children. Your generous donations after the performances raised £???! This money will go towards our defibrillator which I’m delighted to say we now have enough money to purchase! This will potentially benefit  our whole community so a huge thanks for all those who have donated to this very worthy cause. Thank you to Rev Chris for coming to our Y3/4 Christingle Service; we shall be donating £??? to St Andrews Church. We’re not quite there yet though! On Monday the children will enjoy their behaviour reward event, Proud of You. On Tuesday the children can wear their Christmas Jumpers with the rest of their uniform, Christmas dinner day. Tuesday is the last day of term and school will finish at the normal time. Term 3 starts on 6th January.

I’m delighted to announce that Miss Salisbury, one of our TAs, had her baby boy on Friday 29th November. George and Miss Salisbury are both doing very well!

May I wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
