As we race through Term 2, you’ll notice the diary is becoming very busy with activities as we move towards Christmas. Please check your emails and book bags as more information is provided for each activity nearer the time.

I’m hoping most of you are aware, that our school has an excellent Governing Body. Governors are volunteers who help me to make important decisions for the school and make sure we are all doing the best job we can for all of your children! Their work covers all aspects of the school, including policies and procedures, teaching and learning and managing finances. On Tuesday 20th November, we had our 1st Governor In Day. This involved our Governors spending the whole day with us so they could really ‘Get to Know’ the school. They were on the gate in the morning, visited assembly, joined me for a learning walk, attended the School Learning Council, had lunch with the children and even did a Health and Safety check. They all thoroughly enjoyed their day and will use our next full Governing Body meeting to discuss how we take forward what they learnt. Find out more about our Governors here.
