Term 6 is always a busy one –Sports Day, Summer Fair, reports to parents and moving classes are just some of the events coming up.

The thought of moving class, building, year group or school can often be daunting for children. We shall ensure we minimise any of these worries. Earlier in the year we conducted a Pupil Voice Survey and the children told us what they would like more information about with regards to transition. We shall include these  ideas next term when the children visit their new class/school. Parents will have an opportunity to meet their child’s next teacher during our Open Evening on 12th July.

The end of the school year brings inevitable staff changes. Sadly, we shall be saying goodbye to Mrs Dennis in July after nearly 13 years at West Borough. Mrs Dennis opened our Nursery in 2005 and has impacted on many of the lives of our youngest pupils. She will be greatly missed. Mrs Lang will also be leaving temporarily in July as she goes on Maternity Leave. Her baby is due in early September. We have already appointed 2 new teachers for these positions and they will be spending time in school next term getting to know the children and school routines ready for September.

Have a wonderful half term break in the sunshine!
