This term we have been looking at the core value, Respect. We have looked at this as a whole school during our assemblies but also related it to the learning we did during Anti-Bullying Week. I am regularly delighted by the respect that the       children show in and around the school and the comments we get from visitors, or from the community when the children are on trips and visits. I do hope they continue to show respect when they are at home or out with you too!

School Learning Council Update

This term, the school learning council have been working with Mrs Walker and Wheaton to consider whether their learning environments (classrooms) help them to be the best learners they can be. They’ve discussed this with their    classes and also fed back to our Governors yesterday about how our classrooms may be improved further. I will share their ideas next term once changes (if needed!) have been made.

Eco-Council Update

Our eco-council continue to be busy, helping us to be more considerate about our ‘planet’. So far they have encouraged the collecting of used pens and crisp packets for recycling. They have 2 upcoming projects; firstly ensuring our Christmas  decorations in school this year are predominantly from recycled materials; secondly they are running a competition—information about this is coming home on Monday!

I hope to see many of you at our Christmas Fair on Sunday.
