Our new children are well and truly settled and we’ve made the most of the good weather so far this term, with the children having done lots of learning outside. This has included some wonderful Year 5 Artwork. Children have been running their daily mile and also enjoyed using the new gym equipment. Please can I ask parents to not allow their children on this equipment before or after school, thank you.
As the weather does look very changeable now, please ensure your child has a coat with them everyday as we do still go out at playtimes and lunchtimes in light rain.
Rev Chris will be in school tomorrow to lead our Harvest Assembly. We have asked children to bring in a non-perishable food donation (tins, packets etc.). These items will be taken to Food for Thought, a local charity who give food parcels to those in need.
Our Eco-council and School Learning Council have had their 1st meetings of the year. Our Eco-council are collecting finished pens and biros ready to be recycled. Each classroom has their own box, but there is also one in the front entrance for you to pop your donations in! Our School Learning Council have helped write our School Improvement Plan and decided on their focus’ for the year ahead. All this information and te minutes of their meetings can be found in the ‘Children’ section of our website.
