West Borough Primary School is a Community School under Local Authority control. Provided we have places we are able to admit pupils, following an interview with the Headteacher. To make an appointment to discuss a school place, please contact the Office Manager/Headteacher's PA, Mrs Bovis, 01622 726391.
Every school in Kent has an admission authority which is responsible for its administration arrangements. The admission arrangements contain details about how the applications to the school will be ranked. Kent County Council is responsible for the admission arrangements for all the Community and Voluntary Controlled schools in Kent.
The criteria for Community and Voluntary Controlled Schools are:
· Children in Local Authority Care and children who have been adopted from Care
· Current Family Association (sibling)
· Health, Social and Special Access Reasons
· Nearness of Children’s Homes to School
We know how important it is for you to make the right choice for your child when choosing a school. Under normal circumstances, we would love to invite you to visit our school so that you can see for yourself all of the wonderful things that we are so proud to offer. However, schools, like many areas of society, have had to accommodate huge changes in order to keep our children, families and community safe. Below are a range of virtual opportunities for you to see what our wonderful school is like.

At West Borough Primary School we have a maintained Nursery which is part of our Outstanding Early Years Team. Children are able to come to the Nursery from the age of three until they are ready to start school. We offer a flexible placement option, within a child's 15 hour entitlement. We also offer a limited number of places to families entitled to 30 hours. There is the option, spaces permitting, to purchase additional sessions or have an all day option with a chargeable lunch club session. There will be a maximum of 30 children in each session. The children are allocated their places following an interview with the Headteacher. We also arrange a home visit.
